Reduce energy consumption, eliminate emissions, save money Compressed air is one of the most important utilities for the industry. It is also one of the largest consumers of energy. Therefore, compressor energy savings have a significant impact on costs and on the environment. Saving both costs and the environment When looking at the typical carbon footprint of an air compressor - from the design phase right through to the equipment’s recycling - the energy consumed in its use accounts for 99% of CO2 emissions. As energy consumption also typically represents over 80% of a compressor’s lifecycle cost, energy savings in compressed air systems will have a significant impact towards preserving not only the environment but also your bottom line. While compressed air systems in general account for about 10% of total industrial electricity consumption, this can amount to as much as 40% of the electricity bill for certain plants. Made for industrial applications ranging from air gas feeds and gas bottling to petrochemicals, gas processing, and numerous industrial processes, our oil-free and oil-lubricated gas compressors are true all-rounders. Our range covers high flow levels up to 10 000 m3/h (5885 cfm), with maximum outlet pressures up to 480 bar (6962 psi)

Atlas Copco's pneumatic motors are compact and reliable with high power-to-weight ratios. The complete range with sizes up to 6500W is lubrication-free. Stainless steel motors are also available, ideal for the food and chemical industries due to their capability to withstand corrosive environments. Our ATEX-certified motors work perfectly in hazardous environments where sparks or high outer temperatures might otherwise ignite explosive gases, vapour, or dust. We provide three technologies:

For the whole product family, we can offer customized motors adapted to individual customers’ demands in addition to the standard range. Vacuum and abatementDry (Hydrocarbon free in the process) vacuum pumps play an important part in many vacuum applications and environments and Atlas Copco have a variety of solutions to meet your needs. The main advantage of ‘dry’ pumps is that there is no lubrication in the main pumping chamber thus eliminating the contamination of the process.
